Why New Moms Should Work with a Postnatal Specialist: 

- We encourage moms to take it slow and choose low-impact options as they recover.

- We think it's perfectly fine for a new baby to distract their mom for part of the workout, because they are helping to ensure that mom doesn't overdo things in the early days.

- A group class provides a safe and fun place for moms to get out of the house, to start exercising, to feel better about themselves, and, most of all, to make friends.

Sarah found mom and baby fitness classes a vital part of her postpartum weekly routine. As a result of that experience, she wanted to create a safe and informative class where new moms could have time for themselves to meet their exercise goals, whilst making new friends.  

The main benefits of Sarah's group classes, workshops or personal Training one-to-one sessions include increasing mom’s (or mom-to-be’s) knowledge, confidence, and health. Although Sarah does not endorse dieting during pregnancy or for new mothers, she does encourage a holistic and mindful approach to food and movement.

As a qualified Diastasis Detective and Your Pelvic Matters instructor, Sarah’s programs are designed to be low impact and safe for postpartum bodies. The classes are designed to realign, strengthen, and restore. Passionate about your postnatal health, Sarah hopes to empower you with the knowledge to reach realistic goals safely while having some fun with a community of new friends. Sarah’s background in health and fitness as well as her knowledge and training in pre and postnatal fitness makes her an expert in our community.  Sarah holds a BSc from the Open University and trained with the PT Academy in London as well as Future Fit Training in Hampshire, UK. She was awarded Level 2 Active IQ Gym Instructor and Level 3 NCFE Personal Trainer qualifications, and further qualified in Pre-and Postnatal Exercise Design (VTCT) and Nutrition (Future Fit Training-AfN). Sarah is also a qualified ‘Diastasis Detective’ and ‘Your Pelvic Matters’ teacher having done additional extensive training and following Claire Mockridge’s popular program. Sarah holds current First Aid CPR-C/AED certification.

Sarah is a current member of UK Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and the Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Instructors.
