About Sarah.

A passion for postnatal FITNESS - grounded with the experience of BOTH a mother and military officer

Sarah has honed her skills during a 16-year career in the Royal Navy which saw her working all over the world, from the South Atlantic to Australia, on a variety of operational deployments.  

With a background in sport and fitness competition and management, Sarah survived the physical rigours of a lengthy military career. Fifteen years ago, Sarah served at the Royal Naval School of Physical Training before becoming the Physical Training and Recreation Officer at one of Europe's largest military air bases. Sarah managed the design and delivery of  fitness, recreation, and adventurous training for more than 4000 service personnel, staff, and their families.  

Her work has received post-graduate professional recognition in Strategic Leadership and Management, she is a graduate from the Open University (BSc), and she is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). 

A busy working mom of 2 young children herself, Sarah has personal experience in making time for fitness in her family schedule and knows just how important it is for both mom and baby.

 Sarah holds a BSc from Open University and trained with the PT Academy in London as well as Future Fit Training in Hampshire, UK. She was awarded Level 2 Active IQ Gym Instructor and Level 3 NCFE Personal Trainer qualifications, and further qualified in Pre-and Postnatal Exercise Design (VTCT) and Nutrition (Future Fit Training-AfN). Sarah is also a qualified ‘Diastasis Detective’ and ‘Your Pelvic Matters’ teacher following Claire Mockridge’s programs. Sarah is insured and holds current First Aid CPR-C/AED training.

Sarah is a current member of UK Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and the Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Instructors.
