Postnatal Fitness Classes
Sarah offers a range of mom and baby exercise classes in Fredericton and Oromocto which are all stroller based. All Sarah’s classes are designed with the postnatal body (and it’s safety) in mind and they focus on correcting pregnancy alignment, promoting good posture, retraining the core (including pelvic floor), resistance work, gentle cardio and toning. They also take in to account tiredness levels and hormonal changes which may affect the postnatal body. Drop-Ins are sometimes available if the course is not sold out.
Postnatal personal training is also offered on a bespoke basis - including postnatal core 1:1 personal training.
STROLLER STRONG - FREDERICTON (SPRING/SUMMER/FALL)
6 - week courses run throughout the year. Where possible we get outside and incorporate safe postnatal exercise within a low impact workout. A variety of workouts are including in this course including - core, interval and circuit training. Designed to be safe for moms <6mths postpartum and with minor separation/core weakness. Where possible we finish at Enchanted Woods Play Cafe for coffee and some good conversation! A wet-weather venue is available.
STROLLER STRONG - FREDERICTON (WINTER)
5 week courses are run over a 6 week period during the winter to allow a spare day for weather. Designed to be safe for moms <6mths postpartum and with minor separation/core weakness.
We move inside to keep mom and baby warm.
Sarah also offers ‘pop-up’ circuit-based classes during the year at various locations where baby watches mom from their car seat or a bouncy chair.
STROLLER FIIT - OROMOCTO (Throughout the YEAR)
A gym-based course, Stroller Fiit uses more equipment than Sarah’s other classes. Designed to be safe for moms <6mths postpartum and with minor separation/core weakness- but also incorporates more challenging adaptations for moms >6mths postpartum.
Please note the last Stroller Fiit course finished in Spring 2018.
